I told my girlfriend, the day looks funky. I had no idea this was going on.
I’m working on a project totally unrelated to snakes or TwinSrpnt and wham, found this flickr pool full of vintage illustrations of snakes. I had to share with you guys. All these photos belong to Ephemeral Scraps on Flickr.

Thanks for looking!

Mark Laita was photographing venomous snakes and suddenly, a black mamba appears and bites his leg. He got bitten but no venom was injected. Otherwise, he could’ve died within minutes. I’ve would’ve put some tattoo ink where the bite is.
Maybe girls would ask, “What’s the mark on your leg?”
I would calmly reply: “Oh that, I just got bitten by a black mamba and survived.”

When we started TwinSrpnt, we were going to do a Medusa design with all kinds of crazy hair but the design never took off. These are some of the snakes I drew, scanned and then autotraced on illustrator to use them as vectors. Feel free to use them as you wish, no need to link back or none of that. Use them for personal projects, commercial or however your heart desires. If you’re a veteran designer, you’ll probably laugh at them but if you’re a beginner, these might be a good addition to your library. Vector set contains 6 snakes looking all mean and ready to bite.
